Drivers of Form - September 2021

Every month, we dedicate time to reflect on how the FormScore community feels, what the main drivers are, and think of ways to support you.

Here is what we observed in September:

  • The overall average score was 6.17, which is lower compared to previous months. Here at Form, our own experiences suggest this could be down to the summer holidays coming to an end, which brings the return to work, getting children settled back into school and perhaps the evenings starting to get darker.

  • The data below suggests that Travel, Weather and Nutrition positively impacted our Form but that Stress, Work and ill-health brought it down.

So, what can we do to improve our low form? Stay connected. Reach out to those we trust to have a chat and share our worries. Check out the tips and resources in The Form Guide ebook and remember that professional help and support is available if you are feeling very low. Book an appointment with your GP or use the resources available in your workplace.

Drivers with the most impact on Form

Drivers of Form - monthly report.png

Here, we look at the drivers with the biggest positive and negative trend (direction of movement when the driver is selected).

  • Weather, Connections and Travel had a positive impact on our form. This is a reminder that spending time with loved ones, and getting away from our usual routine and surroundings have the power to lift our form.

    • It’s worth noting that although Travel had the most positive impact on our form, it was the least selected driver.

  • The data show that Stress ManagementFinances and Work, had the most negative impact on our Form.

    • If Finances cause stress, can you review your household expenses and seek financial advice?

    • Similarly, if Work causes stress, try to prioritise breaks in the day that keep you well. Don't sacrifice those moments of recovery because of busy-ness. To improve our performance we need to dedicate time for recovery first.
