Welcome our guest:

In this episode, we delighted to welcome John Flint, Former Group CEO at HSBC.

John is the former Group CEO of HSBC plc.  I remain impressed that, during his tenure as CEO, John introduced the vision of creating the "healthiest human system in financial services", which I believe has left a strong legacy in the bank.

John is passionate about the creation of workplaces where the health and wellbeing of employees are prioritised, and believes that these values are essential if we want to create high-performance workplace cultures.

In this excellent article by McKinsey the idea that “employees’ satisfaction is positively correlated with several aspects of company performance, including shareholder value” is explored.

In this discussion John talks about his journey to CEO; his perspectives on leadership through challenging times and how to catalyse the creation of mentally healthier workplace cultures where employees are empowered to be the best they can be.
